The CEWT is the most respected welfare trust in Pakistan and provides the best social welfare services to the deprived people. It operates on a non-commercial, non-political basis and offers round-the-clock assistance to people without regard to their race, class, or religion.

A group of school friends from Pakistani Community High School (Al-Khobar) felt the pain and agony of people surviving with tough socio-economic condition in Pakistan. Where there is not enough income and resources to win bread for their families, let alone the living conditions with education and health. Initially the group decided to serve needy families with rashan bags starting from small number that has gone to numerous families by the grace of Allah.
